Barb Gaming in the Library

We just got a Wii system here at the library and I've used it in one program so far (we had the first Wii Bowling tournament). If you have gaming in your library can you offer feedback, suggestions on what works best and what doesn't work. Continue

Jennifer Fannin DC/ALA experience

What an exciting experience I just had in Washington DC! I found that the folks at ALA convention were wonderful! I love the support YALSA provides for all of our youth and the teachers/librarians who serve them…keep up the good work!

Heather McNamee Card Hello YALSA!

I just have to say that YALSA rocks! I am totally impressed by the willingness of this crowd to try things in the digital environment. This is so important to the profession right now because it is where many of our patrons (um, especially youth!) are right now.

Barb YA Summer Reading

What are some cool ideas for your summer reading program this year? Our theme is Get a Clue, so we're keeping ours around mysteries. We have a Forensics Professor coming to speak, playing Clue the DVD game and having a Monster Material contest (like Project Runway...but didn't want to scare off anyone!). Continue
