- I absolutely love handing a new book to someone (especially a teen), and having them come back several days later to say how awesome it was and to ask for me.
- What is the biggest issue facing libraries today:
- Figuring out how to continue to draw in the next generation of readers, even as the nature of reading is changing so much--and our funding situation is too!
I also think that dealing with the digital divide is pretty huge, as a re the basically anti-pleasure-reading principles being followed in a lot of public schools as a result of NCLB.
